About this role
Brand and positioning
Own the brand platform: what SBHY stands for, who it’s for, what it sounds like, what it
looks like
Write and maintain the brand guidelines, and hold the line on them across product,
packaging, web and social
Art-direct seasonal campaigns and shoots — casting, location, styling, the edit
Build the asset library the whole business runs on
Drops and go-to-market
Own the drop calendar with the founder — timing, sequencing, and the story behind
each release
Build the launch plan for every drop: teaser, waitlist, launch, sustain, restock or sell-out
Run the Founders Club: what membership actually delivers, how it’s earned, how it’s
communicated
Post-drop: sell-through analysis, what worked, what to change next time
Channels and demand
Own the marketing budget and the mix across paid social, search, email/SMS, affiliate
and partnerships
Manage [agency / freelance] paid media partners and hold them to a CAC and ROAS
target
Own the email and SMS program end to end — welcome, browse and cart abandonment,
post-purchase, win-back, drop campaigns
Own site merchandising and conversion: collection pages, PDP copy, homepage, launch
pages
Partnerships and channel expansion
Build resort, retail and event partnerships across Australia and New Zealand [Thredbo,
Perisher, Falls Creek, Hotham, Queenstown, Wānaka]
Develop the wholesale and stockist strategy — which doors, what terms, and how we
protect the brand in them
Manage earned media and the snow press [Mountainwatch, Chillfactor, Snowsbest] ,
plus podcasts and creator collaborations
Scope collaborations with complementary brands and athletes
Commercial
Report monthly to the founder on revenue, CAC, AOV, repeat rate, contribution margin
and sell-through by SKU
Feed customer and demand insight into range planning, sizing and colourway decisions
Manage the marketing P&L line and make the trade-offs inside it
Team
Manage and develop the Social Media Manager
Build and manage the freelance bench — photographers, videographers, designers,
copywriters
